Artist's Description
SP
Washington.Commercial tuna and salmon fishing boats are at rest after a busy morning run out the Mighty River of the West.
Ilwaco was first settled in 1851 and was named for Elwahko Jim, the son in law of Chief Comcomly. Located on the Southwest coast of Washington, the Port of Ilwaco is nestled just inside the Columbia River bar. A working fishing village in a scenic and tranquil setting. An 800-slip marina is idyllic for both recreational boaters and commercial fishermen. There is guest moorage available year round, as well as a back in launch, two small boat hoists and two fuel docks. *Digital Art from my original film photograph in Antique Sepia
